Jakarta Post switches Printer Friendly Page
I was going through the RSS feeds in my Gmail and stumbled on this one that looked intriguing. I went on to open a few more news stories and ended up looking at that one last. When I got to this story's tab I began to wonder how I had found a story such as this. It had nothing to do with hackers or programmers or even businesses--well, not directly anyways. It is an article about a director performing a skit about a Letter to the Devil. It is rather interesting as he shares his views that the devil is in all of us, so long as we allow him to be. I looked further at the page and could not find an 'Email Story' link. I clicked on the 'Printer Friendly' link and to my surprise I was presented an article about hackers and onmac.net's contest for installing Windows XP on an Intel Mac. Which was not as interesting as the headline suggested, but does bring up a very good point that collaboration can solve problems much more quickly than closed-source business models--albeit with a slightly lower quality given the accessibility of Apple programmers to the hardware/software on the Intel Macs.
